What size of Eve Cup to choose?

Pelvix

Small will suit :

- young girls and women under the age of 30 who never had children.

Large will suit :
- women over the age of 30 who never had children.
- women who have heavy periods and/or who have already given vaginal birth.

How to apply Eve Cup

Technique de pose de l'Eve Cup

  1. Flatten out the cup.
  2. Pull up each side from one side to the other to form U shape.
  3. Adopt a comfortable position but do not lie down as this will cause the cup to be in the wrong position, and you will run the risk of leakage and discomfort all day. Spread the vaginal lips and gently insert the cup horizontally (in the direction of the tail bone) whilst turning the cup completely around inside the vagina in one direction, then again in the other direction, whilst keeping hold of the base of the cup (not the stem) to complete the insertion. To make sure the menstrual cup is properly fitted horizontally and open, it should easily rotate. Once properly in position, the menstrual cup adheres to the walls of the vagina.

How to remove and empty the menstrual cup ?

  • To withdraw the cup, simply gently pull the stem until you can reach the base of the cup with your fingers. Grab hold of the cup, slightly tilt it whilst moving it to one side and then the other so you can gently pull it out.
  • Once removed: empty the menstrual discharge into the toilet, wash and rinse it with hot water or with a water-based soap that does not contain any oil or perfume.

Important !

  • Do not use the Eve cup for longer than 12 hours.
  • Do not use the menstrual cup during sexual intercourse.
  • Use only water-based lubricants.
  • Eve cup is not a contraceptive and does not protect against the sexually transmitted diseases.
  • If you have any kind of symptom or problem in the vaginal region, consult a gynaecologist.
